A Snowman in Beaufort – Incredible!

We live in Beaufort for a reason. When I left Canada, I thought the low country surely would get me away from snow. Apparently, I was mistaken. This five and a half foot tall snowman just popped into existence. The fact there is enough snow to make sure a creature is truly frightening!
Cool Hotel in Downers Grove

Here is another photograph from my recent trip to the Chicago area. Downers Grove is one of the many suburbs around Chicagoland. The Double Tree Guest Suites and Conference Center is a wonderful place to stay. The central Atrium is really spectacular. This view of the atrium doesn’t do justice to the real thing.
During the day, light streams in via the large skylights. I chose this image because the lights give it a nice warm inviting feel.
